Thinking about spending the night in Benicia? Read on!

Many of you have asked about where to stay, should the festivities of the night be a little too much for the drive home.  Little did you know that Benicia was a veritable goldmine of Inns and B&B’s! Here’s a list of some of the places to stay for the night, one of which you might find the lucky couple at:

Union Hotel, Benicia

401 1st Street, Benicia, CA 94510

(866) 445-2323

This is less than half a mile downhill, easy walk through downtown, by the water, super cute, historic and full of charm. We’ll be staying here for sure. Every room has a Jacuzzi tub (heck yeah!) and some even have a whirlpool for two! Rooms from $120 to $190.

The Inn at Benicia Bay

145 East D St. Benicia, CA 94510-3222

707-746-1055

This is about half a mile, also downhill (good for the gravitationally challenged after a few), and in Benicia’s marina area downtown. Close to the water and shopping. Rooms go from $130 to $250.

Heritage Inn, Best Western

1955 East Second Street, Benicia, CA 94510.

(707) 746-0401

This is exactly a mile from the house. If you have children or had 14 or so drinks, don’t walk here as it’s almost all uphill, though we should have some people running rides to the hotel at night so you stay safe. Prices look to be about $120 to $130 for the night. They have a pool, spa and a complimentary continental breakfast.

Here’s a look into the future: Claire and Zach being domestic. Who wants waffles?!
